Dr. Leslie Smith
Dr Leslie Smith is a board certified surgeon in addition to a soft tissue specialist for over a decade. Dr Leslie Smith is also a certified cosmetic physician trained in laser technology. She completed her surgery training with the State University of Michigan.
Then she specialized in burn and tissue injury as an Army officer and Surgeon at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio Texas. Since then she has been recognized and awarded nationally by the American Burn Association for a Fellowship Award.
The Southern Medical Burn Society/Conference recognized and awarded her for her research. She is internationally recognized and has taught about soft tissue injuries for the American College of osteopathic Surgeons, at the Royal College of Surgeons in London, England, and during medical mission work in Central America.
Dr Leslie Smith was a lecturer and instructor in burns and trauma at the Royal College of Surgeons in London, UK. She is still active in research. Her paper on specialty bioengineered dressings to accelerate wound healing, was published in a peer reviewed medical journal in 2009.
